Pictured above is a small version, about the size of my hand.

Lahmacun is the original fast food in Turkish cuisine and is often referred to as “Turkish pizza”.
It’s quick, cheap and easy to eat.

What is it?
A round, thin piece of crispy baked dough is topped with a mixture of minced meat, vegetables and herbs. To note, this is the only topping available. Served with sides of lemon wedges, and greens (lettuce, arugula or parsley) to top accordingly to your taste before you roll it up to enjoy.

When in Kadıköy be sure to stop at Borsam Tasfirin.
