Since Valentine’s Day is not a well-known or celebrated holiday here, I wanted to make dinner a little extra special for my Turkish other-half and expected guests.
What better way to shower them with love, than through food…with a heart-shaped twist. Especially since the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach, right? With a little pressure cooking for a chef, and meeting new friends, I think it turned out well.
Cut carrots and potatoes for a beef stew.
Besides salad and beef stew, I also prepared Mediterranean-spiced chicken with yogurt. For dessert, strawberry pudding topped with chocolate.
